How I adore the way you look at me after we’ve spent time together! Sometimes with slight disapproval, but I know you well enough to know that it is simply because you truly care how I am faring and blame yourself if I look less than groomed. Give yourself a break! You are exactly the gardener I want you to be, please know that. Your eye, your effort, all of it means so much to me and the equity of our relationship is just right. You have kept me colorful, mostly insect- and disease-free, and I have received my share of oohs and ahhhs because of your hard work. Sincerely, you are the reason I have grown! I know I have taught you so much and all I can ask is that you continue to take pride and find peace in me.
